Reasons for reduction of output of jaw crusher


1. Unqualified hardness of materials

If the hardness or toughness of the crushed material exceeds the range specified in the instruction manual, a suitable crusher can be replaced or an additional crusher can be added if the hardness or toughness of the crushed material is not within the range specified in the instruction manual.


2. The connection position of the motor is reversed

The connection position of the motor is reversed, the main engine is turned in reverse (the moving jaw rotates clockwise), or the triangle connection of the motor is connected into a star connection. If the motor position is found to be reversed, the motor wiring can be changed.


3. The discharge port is less than the specified value

The output of jaw crusher does not reach the factory standard, which may be because the discharge port is less than the specified limit. In this case, it is necessary to adjust the discharge port to the nominal discharge port specified in the manual and increase the crusher for fine crushing.


4. Displacement of jaw plate

It may be that the jaw plate is displaced, causing the tooth top to be opposite to the tooth top. At this time, the tooth pitch size of the tooth plate should be checked immediately. If it does not meet the standard, the jaw plate must be replaced, and the relative position between the fixed jaw plate and the movable jaw plate should be adjusted to ensure that the tooth top is fixed and pressed tightly to prevent displacement after the tooth top is against the tooth root.


5. The field voltage is too low

If the output of jaw crusher can not reach the factory standard due to the low voltage on the working site, the voltage at the working site should be adjusted to meet the heavy load requirements of the host machine.


6. Relative rotation of bearing outer ring

The clearance between the moving jaw and the bearing is too large, which makes the outer ring of the bearing rotate relatively. The bearing or moving jaw should be replaced.



Methods to improve the productivity of jaw crusher


1. Strictly control the feeding size to avoid jamming and blocking

There is a formula for the design size of jaw crusher feed port Feed port size = (1.1 ~ 1.25) * maximum particle size of raw material.

Many production personnel do not understand it, and always take the measured feed port size as the maximum feed size. Therefore, it is easy to block the cavity and groove if the raw material with large particle size exceeds the specified value. Although it is not repeatedly blocked, the equipment will not be able to run normally for a long time every time it is blocked. Therefore, strictly controlling the particle size of raw materials is one of the most important preconditions to ensure the normal operation of jaw crusher.


2. Strictly control the feeding amount to prevent blockage due to excess

Many enterprises have carried out technical transformation on the silo because of the insufficient initial feeding, which seriously affects the production. However, due to the lack of devices to limit the feeding amount, another phenomenon of over correction often appears, namely excessive feeding.

Because the working principle of jawbone is half rhythm work, if too much material is put in, the material will not be broken in time, and the broken material can not be removed in time, resulting in material jam. Therefore, broken material and excessive feeding will affect the production capacity of jawbone.


3. Rhythm feeding, control feeding to ensure the normal operation of jawbone

At present, the crushing section of mineral processing enterprises mostly adopts end chute feeding, and 2 / 3 of the whole feeding equipment is even exposed outside the warehouse. Due to the remote feeding port, the feeding equipment has completely turned into a vibrating chute, which not only has poor feeding speed, but also has serious wear and tear. The best feeding position of feeder should be 1 / 3 of the top of the equipment However, vertical feeding is strictly prohibited to prevent the equipment from losing vibration capacity under pressure or affecting the conveying effect.

In particular, if the dump truck is used for direct unloading, the disadvantages of vertical feeding are more serious. Therefore, how to adjust the angle of the feeding bin to ensure smooth blanking without pressing, and make the rhythm of the miner coincide with the processing rhythm of the jaw crusher is the technical guarantee for normal feeding.


4. Adjust the feeder angle and make full use of the feeder screening function to realize prescreening

Vibrating feeder is often equipped with grate bar, which has some screening function. However, in practical application, due to the amplitude, feeding angle and other reasons, the equipment is easy to block the grate in the screening process, which makes it lose its original efficiency. In the face of this situation, many enterprises seal the grate with steel plate and turn it into a plate feeder.

In fact, in the case of proper adjustment, the efficiency of vibrating feeder grate is extremely obvious. It is the best way to increase the total throughput by adjusting the amplitude and angle of the feeder and fully releasing the screening function of the feeder.


5. Reasonable adjustment of jaw broken discharge mouth and bite angle to maximize the processing capacity of the equipment

The processing capacity of jaw crusher is determined by the size of discharge port. The broken jaw is often used as a coarse crushing device, The size of discharge port should be based on the best feed size of secondary crushing It is not allowed to increase or decrease the size of ore discharge mouth arbitrarily.

The bite angle (the angle between the moving jaw plate and the fixed jaw plate) needs to be adjusted strictly, generally in the range of 17 ~ 26 degrees (the actual situation shall prevail).
